The bag is perfect and I couldn’t be more impressed with the delivery by DHL - literally from Barcelona, Spain to my front door in the boonies of Manitoba, Canada, in 4 days!! Unbelievable!!Absolutely love this bag, no heavy top handles, just a light and sturdy crossover strap, silver metal, much classier than gold, and lots of pockets. The two zipped front pockets have open pouches behind them.The back pocket is zipped and full length, and internally, there is a sizeable zipped pocket, big enough to hold the largest smart phone, this is usually where I keep mine within these bags. The lining is a classy pale grey, solid coloured, with no white to show every mark. The illustration on Amazon showed Jamie as the monkey, but mine was the smaller Davina. The patterning is very subtle, and barely noticeable, I really liked it. This is similar to my previous Beonica bag, but better. It doesn’t have heavy top handles, for those of us who only want a crossover bag, and it’s a lighter construction.The external pockets are also all secure, apart from the pouches at the rear of the front zipped pockets. Big enough to hold a small tablet securely, and the outer pouches and pockets will help to store everything that you need for the day.I love Kipling bags, i have a few bags and purses. This is a lovely bag. Quite roomy. Two zipped pockets and two pouches at the front, big enough for carrier bags and receipts. Large interior with a pen, phone & an extra slot, also a big zipped personal pocket. There is a key hook. The lining is soft. There is also a large zipped pocket at the back. This bag has all the extras a standard Kipling bag has and the quality is great as always. The strap is wider like the older styles which is very comfy. Material is waterproof. The strap is a very dark navy, blue or black but it doesn't spoil the bag. Zips all have Kipling markings. The monkey is named TaraI love the Kipling brand. I have over 50 bags and I have this one in another colour. However Kipling have started changing the direction of the way the zips open and as I wear the cross body bags on my right side (I use a walking stick in my left hand) I find that the zips open from behind me which is not only a security risk, I also fumble to open them. When I chose this bag the photograph showed the zip opening in the original way, but when in came it opens in the wrong direction for me. I understand that it probably suits other people but why don't Kipling use dual directional zips to please every body. I won't be buying any more Kipling bags because of this. I would have given 5 stars if the bag in the photo had been sent.Having read all the Amazon reviews from both UK and abroad, I knew it would be a gamble as to what colour the bag would actually be. Mine is more a dark khaki brown with a lighter strap. It certainly isn't the Kipling True Beige shown. I'm happy with the actual colour I received as it goes with more coats and outfits that Kipling's True Beige. The fluffy monkey keyring is Kristof who is darker but still delightful as rare to get them these days.I am very happy with the practicality of the various zipped pockets. It is also a very comfortable bag to wear either way round over my right shoulder if anyone is worried about the main zipped compartment being more accessible to potential thieves now Kipling have changed the normal direction of the main zip. The strap length is more than enough for a crossbody bag too.Overall verdict: I liked it so much at the discounted price that I later purchased a Blue Blue 2 one in this last sale and was pleasantly surprised that that one IS the colour shown on Amazon's website:)Perfect size for me....wanted to reduce bag size as my last one got heavier and heavier. Still loads of room with this one to carry all I need but can still find my keys at the bottom of the bag!!
